FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Aditi Foundation, Inc. announces its third annual “Danzas Aditi in Big Sur”, directed by dancer-choreographer, Alicia Morena-di Palma, to be held on Sunday, July 20, 2003, from 1 to 4 PM on the Henry Miller Library grounds in Big Sur, California. The multicultural dance program, “Character to Classical” will present resident Monterey County artists and their guests performing Middle Eastern, Greek, Chinese, East Indian, Spanish classical and jotas, European, Japanese, American Tap, and fusion dances.

Aditi, a Samskrit word for creative abundance, promotes the living arts for daily survival with style through dance education, performance, and multicultural, intergenerational, interarts programs in Monterey County.

Guests are encouraged to bring beach blankets, lawn chairs, basket lunches, and to carpool. Available on site are Big Sur Coast Foods, and Aditi display tables with information and cultural souvenirs.

The entrance fee is $8.00 and goes to the student scholarship fund for ethnic dance education and the sustainability of cultural arts heritage.

The Library is located 35 miles south of Carmel, on the mountain side of Hwy 1, south of Big Sur Village, ¼ mile south of Nepenthe, ½ mile north of Big Sur Inn.
